The Portsmouth News are now calling for an officially designated naturist beach:

Quite happy for Eastney Beach to be designated an Official Naturist beach  

2. There is no-where else on Portsea Island where a nudist beach could be accomadated. Ive been thinking about it and even round the corner/langstone harbour would be a no-no due to the strong currents. Just not safe.

EDIT: just remebered my idea a couple of years ago - perhaps between eastney toilets and the Marines Museum would be a good place? but apart from that, thats it. We should be defending Eastney Beach (Fraser beach) firstly, why should we just be pushed off? Id'd be interested in PCC's views, they've been VERY quiet....
