Yes, it's that time of year when 'The News' publishes letters of complaint from beach users adjacent to the nudist area.  First one on Tuesday 27th June - from Ms. Brooks of Lumsden Road (one of your neighbours Doug) Smiley complaining of wrinkly old exhibitionists standing up too close to the 'invisible' perimeter alarming mums with their kids.  It's the usual drivel but will probably trigger similar responses from other readers.

These type of things are laughable!  I mean if you did go on the textile side its not if you wouldn't notice us.  Then if you are really uncomfotable you'd move.  I think families probably go to that corner beacuse its a little more quiet than the main beach.  Silly really!

It's interesting how they always cite children as the reason for their complaint.  In my experience, children are not offended by nudity, only adults.

Hi All,
The lady in question who lives in Lumsden Road, and has complained to the News about wrinklies being too close to the 'invisible' textile/non-textile dividing line, is quite well known to get involved in any local issue and always seems to have something to say about everything. In fact knowing her myself I would be surprised if she didn't have an issue with others making choices for themselves! Such a shame that freedom of choice is always oppressed by a millitant few 'just because it is not their choice'.
