Following the erection of the new "Nudists Warning" signs both at the pathway entrance to the beach [on Portsmouth CC Land and not subject to any "action by any property developer" ] and at the old "eastern end" of the beach in the usual place - we have been asked by our good friends at Portsmouth Seafront Management to report any signs of vandalism - as soon as we spot it,there and then so that immediate action may be taken.

The all important number to call [ day or night] is 02392 828 112

PSFM have gone to considerable lengths [and expense]  to have these new signs made -and located in the most effective positions - so PLEASE may we all be vigilant in helping to keep the signs in position.

The signs are still in place today, so no problems yet.

And lets remember that it's not just the "tear-away testorone tigers" who may be the vandals - there are other[commerical interests] who may be keen to drive us off the beach...!!

Just out of interest, has anyone noticed how the signs are attached to the posts - do they appear more 'vandal proof'?

Hi Steve,

the nuts and bolts which secure the signs have been welded together (fused). I would go as far to say "99% vandal-proof"

Thanks, NEW-NATURIST, the signs would appear secure - providing vandals don't carry angle grinders in their back pocket!  Smiley

See you at the beach sometime,

Steve
